Natalie Smith
Director
Natalie has been part of the BJU community for 18 years, beginning her journey as a Residence Hall Supervisor before transitioning to the Career Center, where she’s served for the past 7 years. She’s a Certified Professional Resume Writer, an Associate Certified Coach through the International Coaching Federation, and a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach. Natalie finds deep joy in working with college students and is passionate about helping them uncover their unique strengths and pursue God’s calling for their lives with confidence and purpose.
Yvonne Williamson
Administrative Coordinator
Yvonne has been a member of the BJU Career Center team since its founding in 1989. Known as a “master of the details,” Yvonne excels in creating order and ensuring excellence. She plays a key role in organizing our recruiting events, managing the Career Central platform, tracking data, and keeping our operations running smoothly. She enjoys helping students connect with potential employers and supporting their journey as they discover their unique calling.
Irene Chen
Graduate Assistant
Irene is pursuing an M.A. in Communication Studies and serves as the graduate assistant at the Career Center. She graduated from BJU in May 2025 with a bachelor’s degree in English Literature and minors in Business and Greek. She is passionate about helping students and enjoys supporting them as they pursue a higher calling through their career journey.
